I have recently bought my first bike, a Gilera Coguar 125 and I am using it to travel to the City of London daily in all weathers about 25 miles. The ride has been very good and I would recommend this bike to learners everywhere. Being fairly short in stature (5'4") the seat height is just right and the petrol consumption is quite adequate. Bikes bought from Carnell/Motorcycle City in Enfield.

My husband also rides a Gilera Coguar and is equally happy with his.

I recently purchased a Gilera Coguar for my girlfriend, and she is really pleased with it. The riding position is relaxed, handling and roadholding are very good for a cruiser, and fuel economy is outstanding. However, the typically Italian electrics and chrome plating will need to be monitored closely, especially during those salty wet winter months. Ours was a second-hand bike, which we bought for a song, really.

These bikes have a poor reputation for reliability and finish in this country, but so far we have had little or no issues at all, other than the dirty and neglected state the bike was in when we bought it! However, after a day of intense fettling, it came up gleaming. (see attached pics).

My girlfriend looks really good on this bike, and she feels safe too, with that big front disc brake to haul her to a stop. Time will tell as to the finish of the paintwork and chrome, but this one is nearly three years old and looks pretty damn good.

Overall, a lot of style and a lot of bike for peanuts. Recommended.
