I
have owned my 1999 Husky for two and a half years now. Having
not owned a bike for about five years, I bought it second
hand instead of a new CG125 as a means of getting to and from
work. It is a delight to ride but I do find it lacking in
oomph (what do you expect fom a 125?) the riding position
is excellent and I can imagine learners would feel reassured
by its stability. the gears are very forgiving, which is also
a good point for learners or those returning to biking. One
question: Why do all "cruiser-style" machines have
to have so much chrome? Don't they know that most of us want
a bike with minimum maintenance? Watch for the rear springs.
they are particularly difficult to keep clean and therefore
end up rusting. Likewise the chrome chain guard. I found the
chrome peeling off as if it was silver adhesive tape! On the
whole a lovely bike and I have very few regrets about buying
it!!!
